Systempreneur

It was 2008, and the economy was dismal. It seemed like every other person in New England was getting laid off. Many were wailing and gnashing their teeth; despair was running rampant.
I was working in our family-owned small business. We knew keeping all our financial eggs in one basket wouldn’t be wise, and we also knew that it made the most sense for me to be the one to find a different direction.
So what did I do?
After careful thought, I decided to purchase a franchise. Why not? What else would I do with my life savings?
Seriously, I wanted structure and a proven system. I wanted strong branding and an even stronger support team.
Franchising isn’t for everyone, but it worked for me.
Franchising isn’t easy, but business ownership, in general, isn’t easy.
Today’s economy reminds me of the dark days of 2008 in many ways. Layoffs, inflation, and extremely high housing costs, among other factors, are contributing to stress and uncertainty.
Many are trying to figure out how to make ends meet. Many are getting laid off and trying to figure out a different direction. Many are considering entrepreneurship.
If you’re considering starting a small business or purchasing a franchise, speaking with someone who has successfully done both would be a good idea. I can help you consider all the angles before you invest significant time and money.
I’m a small business coach. I’m also a life coach. I pursued both certifications because I understand from personal experience how crucial work-life rhythm is for small business owners and their families.
So, even though I’m a small business coach, I’m also a life coach. I can help you determine your next steps and if entrepreneurship is your path.
