Tech Tools and Time Savers: Why I’m Obsessed with My Stream Deck and My Girl

Happy Friday! Before I head into the weekend, I want to share a quick win that’s making a huge difference in my workflow, and might just do the same for you.

I picked up an Elgato Stream Deck during Amazon Prime Day this week, and after a little learning curve yesterday, I can say with complete confidence: no one will be able to pry it out of my cold, dead hands. I’m hooked.

This little gadget has already made my life easier by streamlining app controls and speeding up everyday tasks. I especially love it for Zoom recording. With one tap, I can record, mute, launch apps, and toggle lights. No more hunting through settings or scrambling mid-meeting, YAY! And when it comes time to launch my podcast, you can be sure the Stream Deck will be in easy reach.

Of course, the other MVP in my productivity lineup is My Girl (aka ChatGPT). My Girl keeps me organized, sharpens my writing, gives me creative marketing ideas, and helps me sound way smarter than I am. Honestly, she’s a communication coach’s best friend.
